Out of all the hotels in Florida. This is the only one who refused to help print a document for our disaster response company during hurricane Irma. This hotel does not care about their guests or their community recovery efforts. Hopefully the reviews they have been receiving will help them close their doors for good.
Dirty stained carpets, roaches but worst of all they overcharged because of the hurricane. They advertise wi fi but it doesn't work. Also breakfast is advertised but a no go.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. I BOOKED THEM THROUGH EXPEDIA IN ORDER TO PLAN FOR THE HURRICANE IRMA EVACUATION. IT SAYS ITS A HOTEL YOU DONT NEED TO PAY UNTIL YOU ARRIVE AND STAY AT THE HOTEL. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD RIGHT AWAY. WHEN I CALLED THEM TO QUESTION IT AND SAY IT WAS ILLEGAL THE MANAGER ABRUPTLY GOT ON THE PHONE AND SCREAMED HE "HAS TO BECAUSE THE HURRICANE IS CAUSING SO MANY BOOKINGS AND PEOPLE COULD CANCEL ON HIM AMD HE HAS TO COVER HIMSELF!" WHEN I TOLD HIM THATS ILLEGAL AND I WANT MY MONEY CREDITED BACK UNTIL I STAY THERE (WHICH I WOULD NEVER AFTER THIS INSTANCE) HE SCREAMED "OH WELL, THEN I'LL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. GO AHEAD A-HOLE AND CANCEL. I WONT BE STAYING THERE AND I'VE REPORTED YOU TO THE STATE! GOOD LUCK
Clearly a sub par establishment. Those who gave more stars than one..I'll be civil and just take for granted they made a mistake. We were in a bind and needed a place to crash for the night...Should have slept in the car. Giving more than the minimum rating encourages this business owner to continue running this place like they do. The owner could obviously do better and he knows it. There's just no motivation there to improve. There are few words to describe the filthy conditions here so to put it as simply as possible.... JUST DON'T STAY THERE.
The room smelled horrible, the a/c leaked and did not keep the room cool, the remote control was broken and was being held together by a rubber band and the tv was broken as well. I only chose this place because I was broken down. Thankfully I did not have to spend the night here because the sheets were questionable.
